Express Yourself

There has been an exercise circling around deviant Art for a while now called "25 Essential Expressions Challenge". It's a great exercise that everyone should try. I finally found time to do mine. This is just roughs of the first 10. The finished version is here. Enjoy!

Wow, three for three! As an added bonus I busted out the pencil crayons to colour a second version "old school". There's actully been improvement in just 3 weeks. can't wait to see where I'm at in 3 months!

Happy New Year! I know, a little late...

I've given myself a little project as my new year's resolution. It's usually "draw every day" but let's face reality... it never happens. So let's try drawing every week! I'm calling this project "50Two Pickup". The idea is to draw a character each week for the year and post them every Friday (52...get it?). This way I have a purpose to draw and it will be fun to see how my style evolves since I'm off my game right now. It will be good practice for my sketchcards come convention season. I invite everyone to join me on this quest. If so, let me know so that I can follow your progress as well. Let's get sketchin'!

Fan Expo 2009

Another year of the Expo wraps up. Tiring, but tons o'fun! Sold more artwork and made new friends. I'm already planning for next year and am looking into expanding to other cons. Watch for me in 2010!

Hey y'all! I've been meaning to post this for a while. A few months back I worked on a viral video to promote... you guessed it, "GIJoe The Rise of Cobra" from Paramount. Being a huge Joe fan, it was a perfect gig. We pretty much played with the Hasbro toyline for 8 weeks. Check it out here.

Smooth Criminal

So I have finished my tribute piece to the "King of Pop"! There are four versions because I couldn't decide on the final look. I like them all for different reasons. Check them out here. Yes, I'm making you go to my other site... I'm tricky like that! Here's a taste though.
